Collin sleeping and missing Madi

Collin was so exhausted after a whole day at preschool he fell asleep at 6:30 on the couch. Too cute!
Tonight I was downstairs with Collin when he set up a snack for him and Madi. He was pointing to where she was sitting. This was without even mentioning Madi tonight. He wanted to have raisens with her and I had to open her raisen box too. He said he misses her... and Nana and Papa.

POLAR EXPRESS cont...

When it was time for Santa to make his rounds Collin was playing shy. He refused to look at Santa for a very long time and covered his eyes (if you look at Santa..can't say I blame him; he looked very fake). Finally he really opened up to Santa. After Santa left Collin really got up some courage and left our table to go sit with another boy and his family. He took his crayons and just walked over to their table and sat down. It was hilarious. Everyone around us was laughing at Collin.

POLAR EXPRESS

POLAR EXPRESS

Last weekend we went on the Polar Express. A real train ride to the "north pole." They had people singing, reading the Polar Express book, cookies and hot chocolate. Collin loved watching the train as it moved along the train. He definitly had a blast.

Christmas Cookies

MAKING CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Collin loves to help do anything in the kitchen. He is such a good helper. We made Christmas cookies and he loved to press the cookie cutters, watch the cookies bake and of course the best part....frost the cookies. About every 5 secs he would say "uh oh and yum" He would get frosting on his hand and have to lick it off. They ended up being FAMILY cookies.

Best Present Ever!!!

Collin and Ryan thought this would be cute.....

Collin and Santa

November 2007---Collin and Santa.
Thankfully this Santa knew a little about Thomas the Train....he has been asking for a new train and toys. Also added a picture of Collin and Ryan making waffles for breakfast.

Wisconsin

Thanksgiving 2007- We were in Wisconsin with the Robinson/Fletcher family. Apparently I forgot to take pictures. There are some of Collin and Cody eatting cake (a pillow w/ a fork) and sitting on great grandma/pa fletcher's lap. I also included a picture of Collin eatting at Mongolian Barbeque with his chop sticks. He insisted he eat the whole meal with them.

Sick boy!

I haven't had time to update the blog lately because over the last two weeks Collin has had pneumonia and the stomach flu one week after the other. He is hopefully on his way to being healthy. I also just finished finals on friday. 12 wks left of class and then finally done with school and Caiden will be here too! Such a busy time in the Robinson house right now. I will try to update the blog with recent pics of collin as soon as possible. We are in Mt. Pleasant this weekend and next for family Christmas' and then in our home Christmas morning and then traveling to Indiana for Christmas the following weekend with the Robinsons.

On Sunday December 16 (tomorrow) we are going to go on the Polar Express to the "north pole." Collin loves trains and has been reading the Polar Express and the Movie. He gets to wear his pajamas and drink hot chocolate and eat cookies while someone is reading the book. We are so excited. I will post those too.

Have a merry Christmas!!!!

Happy Halloween

Tonight was Collin's first real Trick or Treating experience and oh what an experience.... Thankfully Ryan was able to get a couple hrs off of work to enjoy the fun too. Collin started off not really sure what this was all about. He would go up to the door with the neighbor kids and not say a word, just hold out his bucket. Then when we would pass kids with masks on & he would run as far away as he could. There were a couple houses he even refused to go to because they were a bit too scary (people jumping out in scary costumes etc from tents). By the end of the night he was off on his own saying trick or treat and thank you and loving it. We were only out about 40 minutes then we came back home and he helped hand out some candy. I think he had more fun doing that than anything.

Carving pumpkins...

We forgot to carve our pumpkins this weekend when Ryan was home so last night was quite the adventure, just collin and me. I don't think i have ever carved a pumpkin (that's what dads are for right?) and Collin was so disgusted by the goopy inside, so together we were quite the combo. I captured some great pouting pictures and then we finally resorted to just painting them. Enjoy

Happy Birthday Ryan

We celebrated Ryan's birthday a couple days early since he is back on second shift and weekends are the only time the 3 of us are together. We just had a little cheesecake and some ice cream. Collin had fun decorating the cake (yep a cheesecake) and sticking in the candles. It was just a great family day.

Also a picture of Collin with Aunt Andrea and his new Thomas Train.

Collin's Last day of Daycare in MP

Collin's Last Day of Daycare at Caring for Kids was last friday. It was actually a very sad day, he really loved going there and playing with his "best friends." (straight from his mouth). It was the first time collin had been in daycare fulltime. So it was ironically a very comfortable feeling for me to have him in someone else's care everyday, all day. I tried to take a few pictures of Collin with a couple of the girls that took care of him, however he was less than cooperative, but his friend Ethan was all about posing. So enjoy the pictures of Ethan.

Apple Orchard

We took Collin back to the Apple Orchard we went to last year when we got rained out in the middle of picking apples. He got a lot more from the experience this year and there wasn't a cloud in the sky. We took a wagon ride back to pick various kinds of apples, collin loved trying them before we put them in our bag. When we got back to the farm we had some fresh donuts and cider and had fun playing on the hay bails and crawling through the blow-up caterpiller. After we were all done there we headed down the road and picked raspberries; golden and red. Collin fell asleep on the way home and ended up sleeping for over 3 hrs. What a fun day!
