ZOO

We got all bundled up today to make a trip to the zoo. Collin has been asking for days and it finally got up to 50 degrees today. Caiden looked adorable in his winter hat (a lil pudgy though). When we got back home Caiden also had a blast being the main event in our lego castle (he was actually protesting but still cute). Collin is doing a great job at being a big brother. There are many times when Collin's voice is the only thing that will calm Caiden down. We are very proud of how good Collin has been and how well he has adjusted to the big brother role.

Easter

Easter weekend we were in Mt. Pleasant with my family. It was nice to have all the boys together (Collin, Lucas, Caiden). Collin and Lucas had fun coloring eggs, although Lucas was cut off at only 1 egg when he just wanted to drink the dye. There was another attempt to get a picture taken with the 3 boys (which you can tell was quite comical). Collin had a lot of fun searching for eggs filled with money and candy. He actually got really good at telling the difference between candy and money when he shook them. He preferred the money filled eggs. My grandma was also there for Easter and was able to meet another one of her great grandbabies.

We also made a trip to midland to visit with Nichole, Sean and Madisyn. Collin and Madi always have a blast with eachother.

It was finally a beautiful sunny day here so we got out Collin's bike. He got right on and started pedaling down the drive way. We worked with him all last summer and today he hopped right on and got it! We were so proud of him.

I have been taking lots of pictures lately. I am already going a little stir crazy. Hard going from "run run run" to being home all day. Enjoy the new pics.

Collin or Caiden???

So

I caught myself grinning alone while holding Caiden. I am just so happy. Seeing Caiden and how much he looks like Collin and acts like Collin just puts me on cloud 9. I am so blessed to have such good babies. YES! Caiden sleeps as much as Collin did. We are lucky to see his eyes 20/24 hrs a day. He is so good to us. It is amazing to me how these two boys can look so much alike. The above pictures are of Caiden and Collin (Collin was the smaller one). Collin absolutely adores his brother. When Caiden cries Collin runs to his rescue and assures him everything is okay, he loves to kiss him and help with diaper duty. He is an AWESOME big brother. I am so much more relaxed this time and trying to enjoy EVERY MOMENT because I know how fast they grow this time around.

Caiden James has arrived!

Caiden was born on March 6 at 7:47 pm. He weighed 8 lbs 5 oz and was 21 inches. Collin is so excited to be a big brother and is excellent with Caiden. I will add more later when I have a little more energy.
