We spent New Years weekend in Indiana with Ryan's Family celebrating Christmas and New Years. Collin and Madisyn had a blast playing with eachother (and at times in the toilet!) They thought that was a fun game when parents weren't paying attention. Ryan, Sean, Dad R, Cheyann, Madisyn and Collin all took their guns back to the creek to hunt squirrels and Sean was successful. Collin looked so adorable in his new camo from Aunt Andie. Aunt Cheyann was absolutely amazing with the kids and did a great job of helping to babysit, give baths and change diapers.

Christmas in our Home
This year was the first year we were able to be in our home on Christmas morning. It was so much fun this year now that Collin is understanding Santa and how that works. Of course, we remind him that the real reason for Christmas is baby Jesus' birthday. Collin had fun setting out cookies, milk and carrots for Santa, however, one of the cookies just happened to have a bite out of it. In the morning Collin was a little upset the someone ate Santa's cookies....I explained to him that Santa came but I don't think he will really get that concept until next year. When he saw all the presents from Santa he told me " oh i just want to hug and kiss him." Too cute! We made monkey bread in the morning and later had a chicken croissant dish and cheesecake. It was so nice to have us all together for Christmas morning.
Dec 22-23 Christmas in Mt. Pleasant
We spent the weekend before Christmas with my family in Mt. Pleasant. It was so nice to have Christmas all together again. We did the traditional walk through Sheanan's to look at their amazing lights and displays. Collin especially loved the baby jesus nativity, the grinch and the horse drawn sleigh. We had a delicious traditional Italian meal with Lasagna and yummy homemade meatballs (good work mom!) Collin and Lucas made us all laugh when Collin took a toy from Lucas and then Collin got scolded for it. They were both crying and it was quite comical.
