Batman and Caiden's first haircut

Collin has really been interested in superheroes lately. Daily he pretends to be batman or superman and we all have to pretend to need his help (it is a great way for getting chores done). He loves dressing up and coming to our rescue. He spent a few hours at my parents and they made him a batman cape and mask from a black t-shirt. The mask is made from a sleeve and the cape has the sleeves and front cut off. Very creative and Collin has had hours of fun coming to our rescue. I peeked in on him while he was sleeping and he put the mask and cape back on.
Well I finally gave in one week before Caiden turns 1 & I decided it was time for a haircut. I knew that once I cut his baby fine hair he would no longer look like my lil baby, but I am not one for long hair on my boys and he was called "hippie" a time or two. My friend, Sherrie cut Collin's hair 4 yrs ago for his first haircut and she was here to cut Caiden's too. Caiden barely moved and never cried. He wasn't feeling well so he sat contently in my lap and was a very good baby.

What a big boy... and looks so sick.

Collin said it looked like Caiden was a different baby.

Collin with "Jerry"

Collin with "JERRY!" He called me over to look at his Mr. Potato head that he called Jerry. I asked, "Jerry?" He responded "Yea you know, Uncle Jerry... he only has 4 fingers!" This isn't the first time Collin has mentioned Uncle Jerry during his play. TOO FUNNY

Finally added some more...

Collin and Lucas...They love playing with their trains
Mimi and Caiden playing Patty Cake... it is so much fun to watch Caiden clap his hands and mimic all we do.

Cousins posing for a picture..certainly not their idea

They boys with Aunt Andie before she heads back to North Carolina and then to Germany

Collin wearing Ryan's welding helmet (ignore the finger prints)

Collin decided to take a blue marker and color his face. He popped up from a blanket and asked Ryan... "Dad do I look like a hippopatamus?" TOO Funny. (This was after we has already washed his face)

Boys after their bath...they absolutely adore eachother

Great Grandma and Caiden

With such a long and cold winter we got Caiden his birthday present early. Collin couldn't believe that he gets to play with CAIDEN'S birthday present even more than Caiden. It actually is more suited for Collin right now but we know it will bring years of entertainment for both of them.

They love to play together! What a blessing they both are.
